Coordination

IRET ONLUS Foundation is a scientific organization in the biomedical field and laboratory of the High Techonology Network, based at Technopole of Bologna. IRET has consolidated collaborations with companies in the pharmaceutical and biomedical areas. IRET and University of Bologna created a Joint Research Laboratory since 2014.

IRET will be the project leader, responsible for in vivo testing in the appropriate disease models for efficacy, dissemination activities, and will cooperate with TMR srl for GLP safety study.

Participants

CIRI-SDV – Univerity of Bologna, industrial research laboratory of the University of Bologna and of the High Tecnhology Network. CIRI-SDV has consolidated collaborations with companies in the pharmaceutical, biomedical, and biomaterial production.

CIRI-SDV will produce electrospun scaffold and functionalization and in vitro efficacy test; drug dosages for biomaterial release; in vitro efficacy tests for CNS and skin applications.

CONSIGLIO NAZIONALE DELLE RICERCHE – ISTEC. The biomaterials group of the CNR-ISTEC is dedicated to the study of ceramic, hybrid and polymeric biomaterials and has experience in the design and manufacture of biomimetic, biocompatible and bioabsorbable device for the areas of Regenerative Medicine and Nanomedicine.

CNR-ISTEC will produce electroconductive material also functionalized with drugs and hybrid particles with magnetic properties for drug-delivery.

MISTER SMART INNOVATION. MISTER s.c.r.l is a Laboratory of Industrial Research and Technology Transfer of the High Technology Network of the Emilia-Romagna Region.

MISTER s.c.r.l will manufacture electronic devices based on organic, inorganic and hybrid materials for recording electrophysiological signals; analysis of the functional properties of cells grown in contact with the device through patch-clamp and calcium imaging techniques; efficacy testing in the recording of bioelectric signals.

UNIMORE, Laboratory of Traditional and Innovative Pharmaceutical Technologies (Te.Far.T.I.) (Department of Life Sciences) at the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio-Emilia (UNIMORE-DSV).

UniMoRe will produce and characterize biodegradable and biocompatible encapsulating drugs nanoparticles.
